In the past decades there have been massive developments in the field of predictive maintenance. Current vibration analyzers are more capable and equipped with automated functions. With these upgrades, three axes can be measured simultaneously. All these advances do not guarantee that incipient failures are immediately detected unless the operator is equipped with the basics of vibration analysis.

At the end of this training, you will be capable to safely gather vibration data, understand the basics of vibration measurement and the characteristics of vibration signals, apply vibration analysis to detect incipient failure, apply specific techniques for various equipment applications such as compressors, turbines, pumps, engines, and motors, and identify conditions of resonance and be able to address the root cause of the problem.
